Ewartia catipes merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Tasmania. Nama ilmiah Ewartia catipes diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1910.
