Albasia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Nama ilmiah Falcataria moluccana diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1996. Nama ini merupakan sinonim dari Falcataria falcata.
