Forestiera shrevei merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Oleaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona hingga New Mexico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan desert olive. Nama ilmiah Forestiera shrevei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1937.
