Gaultheria chiriquensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Panama (Volcán Darú). Nama ilmiah Gaultheria chiriquensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wendell Holmes Camp pada tahun 1940.
