Gesneria filipes merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Gesneriaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Rep. Dominika. Nama ilmiah Gesneria filipes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Alain Liogier pada tahun 1976.
