Gilmania luteola adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah California timur (Death Valley). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan goldencarpet. Nama ilmiah Gilmania luteola pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Vernon Coville pada tahun 1936.
