Gomphrena celosioides var. fallax adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman) yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Gomphrena celosioides var. fallax pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Moritz August Seubert pada tahun 1997.
