Gomphrena flaccida merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Australia utara. Nama ilmiah Gomphrena flaccida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Brown pada tahun 1810.
