Gomphrena pulchella adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil dan Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Gomphrena pulchella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1826.
