Gymnopogon ambiguus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur, Hispaniola. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bearded skeletongrass. Nama ilmiah Gymnopogon ambiguus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama André Michaux pada tahun 1888.
