Helianthus silphioides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara dan utara-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan rosinweed sunflower. Nama ilmiah Helianthus silphioides diperkenalkan oleh Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1841.
