Helictochloa aetolica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Yunani. Nama ilmiah Helictochloa aetolica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Heinz Rechinger pada tahun 2011.
