Heliotropium amplexicaule adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil dan Argentina bagian utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan clasping heliotrope. Nama ilmiah Heliotropium amplexicaule pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Martin Vahl pada tahun 1794.
