Heterocentron muricatum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko (Oaxaca, Chiapas). Nama ilmiah Heterocentron muricatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Allan Gleason pada tahun 1938.
