Hibbertia notabilis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Dilleniaceae (suku simpur-simpuran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New South Wales tenggara hingga Victoria timur laut. Nama ilmiah Hibbertia notabilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hellmut Richard Toelken pada tahun 1998.
