Hieracium caesium subsp. violaceum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Norwegia. Nama ilmiah Hieracium caesium subsp. violaceum diperkenalkan oleh Carl Johan Lindeberg pada tahun 1921.
