Hopea celebica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sulawesi. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama balau mata kucing, dama dere itam, atau hulo dereh (Sulawesi). Nama ilmiah Hopea celebica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Burck pada tahun 1887.
