Hopea pubescens merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Hopea pubescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Nicholas Ridley pada tahun 1922.
