Hopea samarensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Filipina (Samar). Nama ilmiah Hopea samarensis pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1975.
