Hopea sphaerocarpa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan Barat. Nama ilmiah Hopea sphaerocarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frédéric Louis Heim pada tahun 1963.
