Hopea sulcata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Hopea sulcata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Colin Fraser Symington pada tahun 1939.
