Hopea utilis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah India (Kerala, Tamil Nadu). Nama ilmiah Hopea utilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Henry Beddome pada tahun 1951.
