Houstonia acerosa var. polypremoides merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya, China (Yunnan selatan dan Guizhou barat daya), hingga Indo-China.
