Hoya imbricata merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Filipina hingga Sulawesi. Nama ilmiah Hoya imbricata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Decaisne pada tahun 1844.
