Hydrocotyle bonplandii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Selatan bagian barat hingga Venezuela barat laut. Nama ilmiah Hydrocotyle bonplandii diperkenalkan oleh Achille Richard pada tahun 1820.
