Hydrocotyle eccentrica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Hydrocotyle eccentrica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1890.
