Hydrocotyle hirta merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia, Pulau Lord Howe. Nama ilmiah Hydrocotyle hirta diperkenalkan oleh Robert Brown pada tahun 1820.
