Hydrocotyle hookeri subsp. chinensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan barat daya, barat laut dan Yunnan selatan, Hunan). Nama ilmiah Hydrocotyle hookeri subsp. chinensis diperkenalkan oleh Stephen Troyte Dunn pada tahun 2004.
