Hyptis alutacea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil. Nama ilmiah Hyptis alutacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1833.
