Hyptis fallax merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Hyptis fallax mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 2004.
