Ixchelia mexicana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Ixchelia mexicana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frédéric Charles Jean Gingins de la Sarraz pada tahun 2015.
