Jatropha excisa var. pubescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Jatropha excisa var. pubescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alicia Lourteig pada tahun 1943.
