Justicia hygrophiloides merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland timur hingga New South Wales timur laut. Nama ilmiah Justicia hygrophiloides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1867.
