Justicia squarrosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia tenggara hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Justicia squarrosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1874.
