Lathyrus pubescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil selatan dan Amerika Selatan bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Lathyrus pubescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1830.
