Lophiola aurea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Nartheciaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nova Scotia hingga Amerika Serikat timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan goldencrest. Nama ilmiah Lophiola aurea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Henry Bellenden Ker pada tahun 1813.
