Ludwigia hookeri merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Ludwigia hookeri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Marc Micheli pada tahun 1953.
