Ludwigia peploides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Onagraceae yang hidup menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika, China tenggara, Jepang hingga Nansei-shoto, Australia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan floating primrose-willow. Nama ilmiah Ludwigia peploides diperkenalkan oleh Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1964.
