Ludwigia peploides subsp. stipulacea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China tenggara, Jepang tengah dan selatan, hingga Nansei-shoto. Nama ilmiah Ludwigia peploides subsp. stipulacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jisaburo Ohwi pada tahun 1962.
