Ludwigia tepicana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Nayarit). Nama ilmiah Ludwigia tepicana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Marcus Eugene Jones pada tahun 1929.
