Manihot catingae adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia, Minas Gerais). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan manicoba brava. Nama ilmiah Manihot catingae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernst Heinrich Georg Ule pada tahun 1908.
