Massonia pygmaea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asparagaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Massonia pygmaea diperkenalkan oleh Diederich Franz Leonhard von Schlechtendal pada tahun 1843.
