Medinilla cuneata merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Melastomataceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel di batang tumbuhan lain (epifit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Medinilla cuneata diperkenalkan oleh George Henry Kendrick Thwaites pada tahun 1988.
