Medinilla maidenii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Medinilla maidenii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1886.
