Medinilla malaboensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sulawesi. Nama ilmiah Medinilla malaboensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Reinier Cornelis Bakhuizen van den Brink pada tahun 1943.
