Melichrus adpressus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland timur hingga New South Wales timur laut. Nama ilmiah Melichrus adpressus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Allan Cunningham pada tahun 1839.
