Mentzelia leucophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Loasaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Nevada (Nye County timur laut). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan ash meadows blazingstar. Nama ilmiah Mentzelia leucophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Townshend Stith Brandegee pada tahun 1899.
