Metrosideros umbellata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Selandia Baru, Kepulauan Antipodes. Nama ilmiah Metrosideros umbellata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Antonio José Cavanilles pada tahun 1797.
