Microcorys elliptica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Northern Territory. Nama ilmiah Microcorys elliptica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Barry John Conn pada tahun 1986.
