Mimosa borboremae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Mimosa borboremae diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Harms pada tahun 1924.
